Sport and Exercise Physical Therapists in Active Groups
and Special Medical Considerations
Course Goals:
This
course is intended to instruct the student through
self-paced study on the treatment principles, evaluation
techniques and special considerations for working with
children and adolescent athletes, female athletes, the
elderly, and athletes with disabilities as well as to
educate the student as to drug effects and medical
issues with the athletic population.
At
the end of this course the student will be able
