Pennsylvania PT Approval Status

All continuing education (CE) courses offered by At Home Seminars are approved for CE credit for Physical Therapists and PT Assistants because they have been approved by another state’s APTA chapter

CE Requirements for Renewal: Physical Therapists-30 contact hours biennially/Physical Therapy Assistants-30 contact hours biennially. PTs with Direct Access Certification are required 20 contact hours, 10 of which must be in evaluative procedures. Note: No Classes offered by At Home Seminars are valid for direct access license renewal in Pennsylvania, but are valid for general Physical Therapy license renewal

CE Restrictions: No CE restrictions.

Other Renewal Information: License renewal is 12/31 of every even-numbered year. 2 contact hours of child abuse recognition and reporting education must be completed with each license renewal. At Home Seminars offers no courses to meet the child abuse requirement, but course providers are available on the PA State Board website.
